Robert's Snow Auction

You can bid on your very own piece of original art by a professional children's book artist at the auction at
Robert's Snow. My snowflake, "The Mane Event," is on the auction block right now, along with many other wonderful snowflakes. Best of all, the proceeds go to benefit the Dana Farber Cancer Center, for cancer research. Place your bid now! A perfect gift for any children's book fan.

See ya at the auction,
David

DES at New York Hall of Science

Well folks, the leaves are finally showing their glorious color here in the city, and what better time to announce that I am privileged to be doing three days of Leaves-based readings and crafts this Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the New York Hall of Science in Flushing Meadow, Queens. Come make leaf crowns, hear (and buy signed copies of) Leaves and Monster Hug!; celebrate the season!

For more info, visit the NYHOS homepage and click on the picture of the dancing bear.

See you at the Hall,
David

Here is a link to SLJ's 63 best book picks (out of the 4500 books they received this year!). You might notice a familiar title about a familiar bear under "S" for Stein.

Happy turkey,
